ERECTING LENS - FOR TERRESTRIAL OBSERVATIONS
A telescope produces a reversed and upside-down image. This is not a problem for astronomical observations. However, if you also want to use the telescope for terrestrial observations, this kind of image will be very disruptive while your observations.
The DÖRR erecting lens helps and reproduces the image upright and the right way round. This means that distant objects on earth can also be observed, such as ships at sea or distant mountain peaks. In addition, the image is enlarged by a factor of 1.5x.
The erecting lens features a diameter of 1" and is simply inserted between the telescope and the eyepiece. The erecting lens is only suitable for refractor telescopes and should not be used together with a Barlow lens or with a diagonal mirror.
