The camera requires 12 AA LR6 1.5V alkaline batteries or corresponding rechargeable batteries (not included) for operation. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use any SIM card?

In general, any SIM card can be used - whether prepaid, partner, data-only, or pure M2M SIM cards. Providers not listed here are also compatible.

SIM cards that are inherently restricted (e.g. Supersim cards that are limited to sending data only to the Seissiger portal) cannot be used due to provider-side limitations (Seissiger).

If you do not have a SIM card yet, we offer prepaid multi-network SIM cards with special DÖRR tariffs.

Is the app free, or is a subscription required?

The app can be used free of charge. Each added camera includes standard cloud storage, which is shared across all registered devices. Once the storage is full, the oldest files are automatically overwritten, ensuring that the latest images and videos are always available.

If additional storage is required, extra space can be purchased starting at €0.99 per month for 1 GB. This is only necessary for larger archives. Otherwise, there are no additional costs for operating the camera.
Can I request images and videos at any time?

Yes, the camera remains permanently reachable - similar to a smartphone.

  • Image and video requests via the app are executed instantly
  • Changes to settings take effect immediately
  • Up to 14 days of battery life, depending on usage

Interval mode – efficient and battery-saving:

  • Synchronisation at defined intervals (e.g. every 24, 12, or 8 hours)
  • Automatic transmission when an image or video is captured

Maximum battery life:

  • Up to 5 months of operating time (up to 8 months in standby mode) - ideal for long-term usage without frequent recharging

Tip: Many users select real-time mode out of concern that they might miss images or videos. This is unnecessary - interval mode also ensures reliable delivery of all recordings while significantly extending battery life.
Can the camera be shared with multiple users?

Yes, each camera can be shared with any number of DÖRR Cloud users.

  • The primary user (who registered the camera) has full access to change settings
  • Shared users can view images and videos only
  • Access permissions can be revoked at any time

This feature is ideal for hunting groups. The leaseholder can quickly and easily grant and remove access for fellow hunters or permit holders.

Shared management of camera settings:
If multiple users require access to the camera settings, they can simply log in using the same account under which the camera was registered. There is no limit to the number of devices.

mittlerweile die 6. Wildkamera von Dörr. Die Qualität spricht für sich. Einfach zu bedienen und einfach zu verwalten. Sendet preiswert über vorhandenen SIM Karten. Super Aufnahmen die wirklich im Revier helfen. Es kommt mit Sicherheit noch eine 7. Kamera dazu

Was könnte verbessert werden - Einrichtung Freeway, etwas umständlich das erste Mal, Lasche hinten an der Kamera 1 mm größer da wir Elektro Stahlbaender verwendet haben plus Gurt um die Kamera abzuschrauben, innen Sicherung der Batterien mit Spanner (Gummi etc.) - wenn man Batterie fach aufmacht kann es sein dass sie im Wald hinausspringen …kann jedem das System empfehlen!!! Lieferung Service, Info Top!!! So sollte Service funktionieren.

Kamera prima, Service vom Feinsten und Klasse App

Die erste Kamera ist seit zwei Jahren im Einsatz um mein Grundstück zu überwachen und nun ist eine Zweite hinzugekommen. Es hat sich technisch allerhand getan.

Die Software ist deutlich besser geworden, Stichwort synchronisation. Das Ganze ist jetzt insgesamt wesentlich anwendungsfreundlicher.

Mit der Bildqualität bin ich sehr zufrieden, sonst hätte ich mir keine zweite gekauft. Mir fehlen allerdings Vergleichsmöglichkeiten da ich nur diese Kameras besitze und die Werbebilder im Internet kann man wohl nicht wirklich als Vergleichsgröße heranziehen.

Ich hab mal zwei Bilder (mein Hund am Tage und irgendwem seine Katze bei Nacht) mit angehängt. Dachs, Marder, Igel und Mäuse wie auf der alten Kamera haben sich noch nicht wieder gezeigt.

Hervorheben möchte ich noch den Service. Wenn man mal ein Problem oder nur eine Frage hat kann man mit einem richtigen Menschen reden und der ist auch noch sehr kompetent.

Klare Kaufempfehlung für diese Kamera.

Nicht alle SIM Karten können verwendet werden

Nicht alle SIM Karten können verwendet werden. So z. B. SUPERSIM nicht. Da fehlte mir der ausdrückliche Hinweis. Gegenüber anderen Kameras scheint die Antenne nicht so leistungsfähig zu sein. Bei mir hat die Kamera im Wald kein Netz gefunden während es bei einer anderen Firma problemlos war. Auch gibt es nur einen Freeeway Tarif für 9,90€/Monat und keinen der nur die Bilder berechnet. Gut ist die Qualität der Kamera und die Steuerung der App.
Für den Preis der Kamera würde ich sie nicht mehr kaufen

Zur SUPERSIM: Der Punkt liegt hier nicht an der Kamera. Von unserer Seite sind alle SIM-Karten erlaubt – du kannst frei wählen. SUPERSIM-Karten sind aber technisch so eingerichtet, dass sie ausschließlich an das SUPERSIM-Portal senden. Diese Einschränkung kommt vom SUPERSIM-Anbieter und nicht von uns.

Zum Netz/Empfang: Ob im Wald Netz gefunden wird, hängt fast immer von der SIM bzw. dem Anbieternetz vor Ort ab, weniger von der Antenne selbst. Die mitgelieferte „by the way'-Karte ist eine Multinetz-SIM, die sich automatisch das stärkste Netz sucht – nutzen musst du sie aber nicht. Unsere Wildkameralösung ist bewusst simlockfrei gehalten, damit du die Kameras so kostengünstig wie möglich betreiben kannst – etwa über Partner- bzw. Datenkarten bestehender Handyverträge. Auch ein Blick zu Congstar mit dem „wie ich will'-Tarif (1 GB / 2 € pro Monat) lohnt sich. Gerade in Funklöchern empfehlen wir, eine SIM des vor Ort stärksten Netzbetreibers oder einen günstigen Prepaid-Tarif zu testen.

Zum Tarif: Das ist bewusst so gewählt. Unsere mit Freeway verhandelten Tarife beinhalten eine Unlimited-Option – bei reiner Abrechnung pro Bild würden die meisten Nutzer am Ende sogar mehr zahlen. Wir setzen auf hochauflösende Bilder und Videos statt stark komprimierte Aufnahmen: Das kostet etwas mehr Datenvolumen, liefert dir dafür aber echte Revier-Informationen – Wildansprache, Dichte-Einschätzung und Bewegungsmuster lassen sich so deutlich zuverlässiger ableiten.

Super scharfe Bilder

Super scharfe Bilder. Leider war die Registrierung der mit gekauften SIM Karte sehr schwierig.

Trotz Rücksendung wieder defekt

Lieferorganisation war sehr gut, jedoch eine Kamera mit Defekt. Zur Reparatur zurückgesendet. Kamera kam schnell zurück mit dem Hinweis das alles geprüft worden ist und kein Defekt vorliegt. Offensichtlich aber nicht vollständig geprüft wurde.
Mit Netzteil OK geht, mit AA Batterien OK geht, mit Akkus 18650 original flackert kurz und geht wieder aus. Jetzt muss ich sie das zweite mal zurück senden. Ich betreibe 5 und war bisher sehr zufrieden.
