With the DÖRR MVL-77 you will possess a powerful LED light of exceptional high quality fitted with a swivel frame and a magnetic mounting base. Thanks to this versatile mounting system, the modern LED light is not only suited perfectly for photography and filming – it can be used also as an external and self-sufficient light source wherever you need targeted lighting. The supplied magnetic base can be attached quickly and easily to all metal surfaces, which expands the range of application of the compact lamp tremendously.
MAGNETIC BASE
The detachable mounting base is equipped with a strong magnet that holds the light on magnetic surfaces such as metal shelves and tubes. The LED light can be attached for example to a tent pole when camping, to a metal back wall in the workshop or under the bonnet in case of a car breakdown.
With the ¼ Inch connection thread below the magnetic base you may mount the LED video light onto a tripod. For vloggers and for illuminating webinars, video conferences and for home-schooling, we recommend mounting the light onto a mini or table tripod (optionally available from DÖRR).
UNIVERSAL HOT SHOE MOUNT
If you unscrew the magnetic base, you will find a standard hot shoe mount underneath which allows you to slide the MVL-77 onto cameras and camcorders with hot shoes. So the area where the lens is pointing at is always illuminated. Alternatively you just hold the LED light in one hand while taking photos with the other hand. This works best for illuminating portraits or close-up and macro shots.

HOUSING WITH SWIVEL FRAME
The extremely sturdy housing of the LED light is made of high quality aluminium. The matt black surface gives the video light an elegant and modern look. The swivel frame is also made of robust aluminium and enables the LED light to be aligned optimally and swivelled by up to 360°.
BI-COLOR LEDS
With a total of 77 long-lasting Bi-Color LEDs (40x warm white + 37x cold white) the video light provides a strong light output. The brightness can be dimmed from 0 - 100% in order to adapt the lighting optimally to the photographic and cinematic tasks.
Additionally, the colour temperature can be adapted to the ambient conditions and can be set from 2,500 to 8,500 K - colour casts caused by mixed light belong to the past.
The high colour rendering index (CRI) of over 96 Ra ensures a pleasant and natural lighting, which is perfect for close-up and macro photography as well as for brightening up details and smaller product photos. Also ideal for portrait shoots to lighten shadows and to set highlights in the eye.
All set values such as light output, Kelvin value and the remaining battery capacity are shown in the clear OLED display on the back of the housing.
LIGHT AND FLASHING EFFECTS
To add lighting effects to your videos or to create special film scenes, the LED video light offers pre-set light and flashing effects such as fade-in/fade-out or stroboscopic effects.
LITHIUM-POLYMER BATTERY
By installing a powerful lithium polymer battery, the very compact and flat design of the MVL-77 could be realised. This power-battery allows an exceptionally long operation time of up to 2.5 hours at full power with just one battery charge. The built-in battery can be charged conveniently with the supplied USB-C charging cable.
The light comes with a soft pouch which protects the LED video light from dust and scratches during transport and storage.
This light source is especially designed for photographic and cinematic purposes and is not suitable for permanent room lighting.
