Works great, straight out of the box.

The only thing you need to get started is a couple of batteries. The bucketof the automatoic feeder is really sturdy, the material feels rugged. I use the automatic feeder to feed my pet pigs every once in a while when I'm not able to be home in time for their dinner. It handles the pellets just nice. I have three at different spots in the pasture. I still have to see whether they stand the test of time, but they have been very helpful and my piggies are thankful as well. They come running as soon as the feeders start spreading the food. The pellets come out at a reasonable speed, and if you hang them about a meter and a half (6-7 feet) from the ground the radius is just a couple of meters (1-2 meter radius/3-6 feet radius). If you hang them higher of course the radius will be a lot larger. It depends on your use and needs. Thank you DÖRR for making a decent product that actually works.
